Our Chef, Cody Strauss
Cody Strauss is a chef and parent of a Breakwater student. She received her culinary education at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in Manhattan, and in kitchens in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, New York City, Burlington, VT, and in Portland, ME. She also has taught cooking classes with a focus on connecting youth to healthy, local foods at The Sylvia Center in New York City and at Wolfe's Neck Farm in Freeport, ME.
In addition to cooking, her passions include exploring Portland's many outstanding restaurants, and going on outdoor adventures with her husband, son, and pup.
